A day of my life with a prophet
One day on a DTC bus, while going to Delhi Zoo with my son, Vidhu … I saw a poster of “Lord Rama” beside our seat…
I tapped on Vidhu’s shoulder and asked him… Bhagwanji kahan hain? (Where is God)… anticipating that he would point out towards the poster and then fold his hands in reverence…
To my dismay, he smiled and said nothing… and after not getting any reply from him, I merely looked out of the window and started looking at the moving traffic outside…
Till, I felt a tap on my shoulder… I turned around… Vidhu pointed out towards the Drivers’ wind-shield, where another poster of “Lord Shiva” was pasted… and then he pointed towards another direction, where another poster with an “Om” was pasted…
I was numb… I could not understand what he was trying to tell me… and then it occurred… God is everywhere… all around us.
I have always maintained that every kid is God’s messenger… a prophet and a messiah… and that day one of those messengers gave me a message that I knew… but had forgotten.

A child is GOD's messenger .... someone who lends solace and refuge during times we need to be comforted .... inspite their deceptive nagging and bothersome outer appearance ....We exist for them!
